EVEN SALT LOOKS LIKE SUGAR

We've had a busy week with the fake Instagram account. I can only assume someone was able to find the blog homepage and select her Instagram account where they were then able to copy her pictures and take advantage of her illness. I have since deleted the link on the blog. Several people have already reached out to say they had been contact asking for financial support. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND AT ALL. I have already contacted Instagram (a little painful - had to send them shots of Moms license, etc) about the account, but it appears to still be active.

Here is the info :

REAL ACCOUNT - @slknowlton

FAKE ACCOUNT - @slk.nowlton (see what they did there?) If you are following this account please UNFOLLOW and REPORT using the three dots in the upper right corner of the account.

Now for the update - This past week Mom has kept herself busy watching and analyzing the election and returns. I enjoyed sitting with her and getting her riled up about some candidates and policies. Although I may have agreed with her on most everything, she seems to articulate and speak much more clearly when she's agitated :) We had a great time together solving the worlds problems!

Mom is still not sleeping much. After talking with her many times about this I think she is still so stubborn :) that she can't get her mind to relax. We are currently trying some new techniques that include a white noise app, stop worrying about where Dad is (usually working in his office), and disciplined evening routine. As someone who works nights I understand how hard this can be and hopefully we can find something to help her get the rest she needs.

These last couple of weeks we have been extremely grateful to an old friend of our family's, Becky Daniels. We have known Becky and her family for as long as I can remember and she has always been there to help us out. She has been able to come and chat with Mom and take her out on some errands. Getting Mom out of the house is VERY important and we can't thank Becky enough!

Thank you so much for all of the check ins and updates on your family's! Mom loves to hear about them!

Here are some pictures of Mom with McCall (Mo) at the finish of the San Diego Marathon (I think) and with and my oldest baby girl (Alexis) at the Oakley Rodeo.
