ONE BITE AT A TIME

A couple of weeks ago, everyone's Mom (Shauna) fell while shopping at Walmart. She ended up breaking her knee cap and humerus bone. The fall was a result of her lingering illness called IBM (Inclusion Body Miositis). While trying her best to recover from that accident she came down with a case of double lung pneumonia and became unresponsive at home in bed. She was taken to IMC and was in the ICU for several days while McCall and Dad did their best to help her as they would only allow those two in to visit. She was released to our care right as the COVID 19 procedures were to be put in to affect as we knew she would not fare well with the policies (no visitors). As a family we are working together to help her heal as best we can at home. Her spirits are down and we are hoping to lift her spirits through stories, photos, texts, and phone calls. Each week I will try to keep you updated on her progress so feel free to subscribe above and as a family we will do our best to keep you updated.

I once asked Mom how she managed me, Tony, and Bill after our Dad (Mike Worley) died. She said she had a magnet on her fridge of an elephant to remind her that anyone can eat an elephant, you just have to take it one bite at a time. That's what we are trying to do here - help her manage ONE - BITE - AT A TIME.

Disclaimer : Bill is the writer : not me. Forgive my grammar and terrible writing.
